The Perfect Man
1. Family Man.

Freedom is his most precious commodity - to do what he wants, when he wants; yet, this concept can sometimes be the most difficult to maintain.
2. Hunter, Provider.
As the caveman millions of years ago, my man has an irrefutable drive to be totally responsible not only for his own care-taking, but also for those closest to him. His work ethic is strong, because dependency on anyone but himself is not an option. He will disregard his own well-being to be the head of the household at all times. Poor health and bad weather will never keep him from fulfilling his responsibilities. He's a hard worker and has never contemplated wearing a shirt and tie - he works with his hands, wears blue jeans and boots, and knows he is the best at what he does. He's a hunter and you will never go hungry as long as you are under his wing.
3. Protector.
Threaten his family, livelihood, home, and you threaten the very man himself. He's a staunch proponent of the 2nd amendment and most likely owns several firearms. He understands how to use them, but always with reverence and restraint. He would never point a gun unless he has already committed to pulling the trigger and only as a last resort.
It's his constitutional right and you'll never convince him otherwise.
4. Brotherhood.
Even though my man unconditionally loves his woman, that is usually not enough and he depends upon the tribal camaraderie of his like-minded brothers to keep him on an even keel.
5. Lover.
As every man, he is preoccupied with sex. But, unlike most men, he's not afraid to express his desires and needs. His woman's satisfaction is foremost, his gratification secondary. He loves to touch, tease, grope, grab, nibble, pinch, and essentially dominate his woman, his possession. He is cocksure, proud, commanding, masterful and worshipful in his actions. This secures his woman's loyalty and understanding that she is his partner, his mate, his confidante, his world, and that bond is near impossible to sever.
Warrior, gladiator, guardian, soldier, bad boy. Straddling an iron horse, leather-clad and black helmet donned, long mane thrashing wildly in the wind. Lean and muscled, face tanned and worn from a life less traveled. His tattooed body moves effortlessly as he controls the forward motion, making himself one with the massive machine he rides and the road stretching ahead. You don't know anything about him, except that he's beautiful, mythical and seemingly dangerous. He casts an expressionless sideways glance in your direction, pauses, re-fixes his ferric eyes forward, and advances yet again to engage unknown demons and dragons.
Hang on Toots...where the heck did ya get 20 years from? As SEX & LOVE are different,i'll have you know,i was last in LOVE(ish)in 1991,and b4 that it was 1983 (ouch)do the sums,ha ha. Whats wrong with a short simple list. Great post! I don't have an image of the perfect man for me but here's what I envision:
1. I'd like a relatively tall man but that's a preference and not a requirement.
2. We should have common interests but I also want a man that can show/teach me new things.
3. A strong yet romantic man...someone I can lean on when needed and who isn't afraid to lean on me.
4. A partner/best-friend who will appreciate me for me and not what he wants me to be.
5. A kindred spirit...here's a quote to describe what I mean, "Your heart understood mine. In the depth of the fragrant night, I listened with ravished soul to your beloved voice, and your heart understood mine."
Ok, I'm feeling extremely poetic tonight. The bottom line is that I want an honest and good man that I can share my love and life with. Someone who can laugh at life and themselves when the mood suits. I just want a partner in life...
