Past or present...What was the best thing you ever received for Valentine's Day?
What was the worst?

The best Valentine gift I ever received was a diamond pendant; I can't remember ever getting a bad Valentine gift. No matter what the gift it meant someone thought of me in a heartfelt way, and large or small, I've been touched.

I didn't have a special someone this year to share the day with, but my Mom sent red and white Olympic mittens. The ones with the Olympic rings on the top and a white maple leaf on the palm. It was so sweet and creative! I love 'em.

Quoting NerdyGuy

The best thing I've ever received for Valentine's Day is dinner. I've been working since I was 12 & I can buy myself the things I want for the most part. But for someone to care about me enough to spend the time & put that kind of an effort to do something for me is worth more than anything she could buy me. I know how corny & cheesy I must sound but it's the honest to God truth.

I've never received a "bad" Valentine's Day present. I guess the worst would have to just be something that didn't take any thought at all like cologne or something.

I don't think I'm the only one who's curious as to what made you think of this question. Would you mind too much answering these questions too? I'm gonna stalk your page now to see what other people say lol.

You make me laugh, nerdy! I think of gifts all the time...and wonder if I buy the right stuff or if my stuff makes someone else's "worst" list. I'm a chick -- it's what I do.

I think my worst gift was half a dozen flowers -- right after I told the guy I have horible allergies. They were pretty but I got rid of him as fast as the flowers.
My best one is a personalized card I get every year from my kid -- who's becoming a better artist each year.

First there has to be a gift given in order for it to qualify! Even during my marriage, gifts were gotten after the occasion. Some might call that being frugal, but I know that he was cheap! I'm with BabyCakes, hoping that the best is yet to come.....

My worst was a rose from the local convenience store...as an after thought. The best is yet to come i hope. Elaine
