Can anybody tell me why the man ALWAYS expects the woman to upgrade? Why are they SO CHEAP??? I will not lay out another penny to talk to anyone. If they want to send an email, they can pay. I am done.

Wow. That's a bit harsh don't you think? In this day and age, it is unfair of you to expect the man to upgrade when you have no intention of doing so.
You COULD upgrade and only correspond with men who have also done so. That would make it more...

Although i've had some comments about my Gold status on here, in the past, i don't really feel the need to upgrade now.

I've made a few GOOD contacts on here, and i chat to them via my own email...when i remember.
I've only used comments on my old blogs, to get an upgrade,and that's good enough for me at the moment.
You know us blokes, we only spend money on a 'sure thing'.
I guess it all depends on what you want. I invested in LF at one point as I was seriously looking.
Today's world doesn't always expect the man to pay and I certainly don't. I don't know how many men compared to women are paying customers but I do know that money makes the world go round and nothing is truly free.
You could always chat on the blogs first (here) to see if you want to invest in a membership with that person to be sure you have common interests etc.
