I just don't get it!!
You get a wink from someone, they are showing interest and you wink back to show your interested too.
Then you hear nothing. ?????
Now in my books, if I was to send you a wink, and you responded, then it would be up to me to make the next move.
Am I missing something?
Are the guys just sending winks for the fun of it?
Would love to hear what you all think, and some responses from some guys would be great.

Let's be real, when you get a wink, email,or profile comment from anyone - even a non memeber it not only goes to your large friends email but it goes to the email address you signed up with. So you do not have to log on to this site to see if someone contacted you ! As long as you still have that original email address open and check it you will get it. Let me tell you how comitted I am - I have 2 email addresses. One is for spam and website memeberships like this one, and the other is my regular, professional address. I have both synced with my phone, so If I am out and about and get and email at either address..it will ring in to my phone and I can open it, read it and reply to it. Ba-da-bing-Ba-da-boom !

Probably as you have said some guys make a profile just to check out the site, but I would think that if they had sent a wink off to someone they would come back within a week or two to see if they had a response. Hmmmm ??? less...

So it's now been 2 weeks since I have sent those four emails out to guys that had sent me a wink. I have still not heard a thing from three of them.
Starting to wonder if the membership was worth it?
Now I did send three to local guys and one to a guy in another country.
Out of the three local ones, one has not been on for more than a month and the other two have been on within 2 weeks.
But the only reply I got was from the one overseas.

Well that is sad to hear.
You know I can sort of understand , a little, some people not responding to winks they receive. For some its hard to answer with a rejection as they dont want to hurt someone, so they do nothing.
But still have a hard time understanding the ones that wink at you, and then are not heard from again.
I guess it will stay a mystery overall, though there have been some good answers given here, not enough people have really replied.

Now I know that there are men out there that would appreciate me as I am. I have been one of the lucky ones to have been loved for my curves instead of despite of them. But there are not really enough of you guys out there. I dont want someone to love me and put up with me physically, I want to be loved for the whole package.
I guess its more about being in the majority rather than the minority, Know that there is someone out there that I am meant to meet, meant for me, what if he is not into curves?
Fortunately health issues are now handled since i have lost the extra weight I was carrying, so that is not an issue as long as I look after it.

Now after being off for 5 months Im here again and in the same predicament again.

I'm not a gold member, but I get plenty of winks and respond to them all, but no one seems to follow up and make the next move. At one point I thought it was just guys being cheap and didn't want to upgrade, but I get the same results even from preferred members. This type of non responsiveness definitely does not encourage you to upgrade at all. I've decided that the next time I rece more...
