My kids have their hands out right now waiting for 'their' share of the proceeds from me selling my parent's house. Though now a widower and it being thusly a moot point, even my wife couldn't lay her hands on that or the house cuz it was my inheritance (if I read all the laws correctly). Glad I left the kids behind in NY when I move more...
